Using navigation bar at the bottom of the mobile application, select "Log In", and fill all required fields using your Morningstar.com e-mail address and password.

Using navigation bar at the bottom of the mobile application, select "Log Out".

Tap on the Portfolio icon and log in using your Morningstar.com e-mail address and password. If you have forgotten your password, tap on the “Reset Password” button and our Product Support representative will assist you.

You can sign up for a FREE Morningstar.com account here in order to get access to Portfolio section of the mobile application.

Assuming that you are logged in, select one of your existing Watch Lists and click on “Menu ” button on you mobile device and choose “Edit Watch List” option, which will bring up a list of corresponding holdings. You can then proceed to adjust the purchase price or the number of shares, or remove any of the existing holdings. Make sure to “Save” in order for changes to take effect.

Assuming that you are logged in, you can follow any of the approaches listed below

• Select one of your existing Watch Lists and tap on the “Add” button (“+” icon) to begin adding new holdings.
• Within the Search screen, look for desired US or Canadian securities by its name or ticker and tap on the “Add” button (to the left of the securities) to add it to your chosen Watch Lists (Note: if you navigate to the Search screen from a US/CA Watch List, you will not be able to add Canadian tickers/US tickers to it.).
• Within Fund/Stock/CEF/ETF quote screen, tap on the “Add” button on the upper right hand corner of the screen to add it into your chosen watch lists.

Assuming that you are logged in, within Portfolio section, tap on the Edit button (“+” icon) on the upper right hand corner of the screen to create a new Watchlist using US or Canadian securities

Within the Mobile application, users can only edit or create Watchlists, but not transactional portfolios. Due to the data complexity of transactional portfolios, they should be created and/or edited online at: www.morningstar.com.

You can swipe your finger on the screen from right to left, or rotate your mobile phone horizontally to see additional data columns.

Click on "Menu" button on you mobile device and choose "Customize Data" option, which will bring up a list of all available data points. Choose desired data points and select "Save".

Tap on the column header that you want to sort; tap again to reverse the sort order. For example if you want to sort on "$ Price Change", tap on the column header and the data will get sorted in descending order. Tap again and the data will sort in ascending order. Note that phones with physical keyboard can utilize its up/down and left/right buttons to select required column header and then press Enter/Select button to perform the action.

While in a "Quote" view for a particular security (Stock, Mutual Fund, ETF, or Closed End Fund), tap on the desired time period, listed at the top of the chart.

Ensure that your data connection is working properly (via Wi-Fi or your Wireless Network provider).

On the Morningstar Market Barometer, tap on one of the nine squares to view additional content as well as top gainers, losers and actives for this particular category.

Within the Search screen, tap on the flag icon to toggle between US and Canadian securities (Note: if you navigate to the Search screen from a US Watch List, you will not be able to add Canadian tickers to it.).
